Approaching Storm
This print was inspired by the dramatic skies that gather over the open expanses of marshes and landscapes like the Somerset Levels. It's also influenced by 17th century Dutch landscape paintings where the sky was a primary feature of the composition.
Edition: 8
Printed on Somerset Satin 250g paper using oil based inks.
Very small edition. The reduction process used to create this print destroys the lino block as the print progresses which means there are only eight editions of this print and there can be no more!
Unframed.
Available only from my Artfinder shop.

Lino cuts
Most of my lino cuts are reduction prints. This means that during the cutting process the block is gradually destroyed which means that once the edition is completed I cannot produce any more prints from the block.
I deliberately choose to produce small editions, usually numbered between 10 and 20. All lino prints are hand-printed on Zerkall 145gm or Somerset Satin 250g paper using a 19th century Albion relief press or my Hawthorn press.
